Service Rate Sheet
The following information describes the service and training rates for an New Idea technician, engineer, or programmer to perform on-site service and/or training on your equipment. The payment terms are according to you established terms. A purchase order is required to secure service personnel time and is needed prior to dispatching. Service calls that are over 100 miles away and/or requires lodging, are billed at a minimum of 8 hours per day. The service fees are as follows:
Scheduled Service (Technician): $85.00 / hr. + expenses
Service that is ordered and scheduled at a mutually convenient time with a two-week minimum advance notice. Time over eight hours per day and Saturday is at time and one-half. Sunday and holidays will be charged at double time.
Non-scheduled Service (Technician): $100.00 / hr + expenses
Service that is ordered with more than 48 hours notice. Time over 8 hours per day and Saturday is at time and one-half. Sunday and holidays will be charged at double-time.
Priority service (Technician)
Service that has been ordered on an Emergency or Non-scheduled basis with less than 48 hours notice. This rate applies even if the customer has previously ordered scheduled service. Time over eight hours per day and Saturday is at time and one-half. Sunday and holidays will be charged at double time.
Travel Time (Technician)
Travel time to and from the customer's facility will be invoiced at the rate of: $70.00 /hr weekdays and $85.00/hr weekends and holidays.
Scheduled Service (Engineer or Programmer): $125.00 / hr + expenses

Non-scheduled Service (Engineer or Programmer): $140.00 / hr + expenses
Service that is ordered with more than 48 hours notice. Time over 8 hours per day and Saturday is at time and one-half. Sunday and holidays will be charged at double-time.
Priority Service (Engineer or Programmer): $160.00 / hr + expenses

Travel Time (Engineer or Programmer)
Travel time to and from the customer's facility will be invoiced at the rate of: $95.00 /hr weekdays and $125.00/hr weekends and holidays.
Travel Expenses:
Expenses will be billed at cost plus a 5.5% handling charge. Expenses include but are not limited too, airfare, car expenses (rental charges and / or mileage, tolls, parking), meals and lodging.
Minimum Charges:
Saturday, Sunday and Holiday minimum charge will be eight (8) hours at applicable rates. A minimum of four (4) hours will be charged at applicable rates when a customer requested a service technician to stay over on weekends or holidays, even though no work is being performed.
